Kagome Higurashi! No Need for Shichinintai
Sounga Arc
1. Til Death Do Us Part
Kagome and Inuyasha meet again in Feudal Era. The Shichinintai must subtly fight for her and it isn't soon when Inuyasha catches on. As the Shichinintai deal with turmoil with themselves, and each other, Kagome must resist Sounga's call.
2. Heaven Awaits
Due to her inability to resist, Kagome is confronted by Sounga. However, her refusal to hurt anyone has put her in a precarious position, with Sounga's point at her throat. Meanwhile, Inuyasha and the Shichinintai are busy fighting when Sango has a bad feeling about Kagome. They race to her side, only to find her life is balancing dangerously out of their reach.
3. The Theater of Mockery
Staying by Kagome's side, as she heals in Kaede's village, the Shichinintai are forced to deal with their emotions and admit to the truth of their feelings. Inuyasha still cannot choose between Kagome and Kikyo, even when Kagome's belief in his "final choice" strengthens day after day. Sango must choose between Kohaku and Kagome, when her little brother is possessed by Sounga.
4. The Saint of Anger
In order to prevent Kagome's death, Inuyasha takes Sounga away from Kohaku, becoming the danger he was when Sounga first possessed him. The Shichinintai witnesses firsthand just how powerful and dangerous Sounga is.
5. The Weighing Down of Kagome's Soul
As Inuyasha is released from Sounga's hold, the demon sword moves on to Kouga. Kagome and Inuyasha spend some time together, opening up old wounds and making new ones. The Shichinintai aren't holding up too well with the changes and become even worse because of the apparent affection between their enemy and the girl they've fallen in love with.
6. Home of the Heartbreakers
As they chase down Kouga, Kagome must defend the Shichinintai's presence against Inuyasha, even as they begin to confuse her. When she takes a couple blows for the Shichinintai, Inuyasha must consent to their continued coexistence. The Shichinintai must make their choice: their pride or...Kagome. On the other hand, Kagome confides to Sango and the taijiya makes a decision. Sango and Miroku conspire to matchmake Kagome with the right people -someone they feel isn't Inuyasha.
7. Blood, Sweat and Tears
The danger escalates when they find an unconcious Kouga without Sounga. More troubling, is when they realize Naraku has it. Kagura and Kanna make them fall back, Kohaku makes a reappearance, returned to Naraku's control, and the world shakes with the return of the Dragon Twister, this time caused by the hand of Naraku. And they still do not know or understand why the demonic sword pulls at Kagome.
8. The Devil in the Wishing Well
When Inuyasha is drastically hurt and Kagome mistakes him for dead, her distress unlocks a powerful burst of power from her body -forcing Naraku to flee...without Sounga. Kagome, at her weakened physical and emotional strength, is susceptible to Sounga's actions. In the possession of Sounga, Kagome can no longer hear her friends' cries.
9. Killing All That Holds Her
Unleashing another Dragon Twister, 20x more powerful than Naraku's, Kagome wanders. Killing all in her path, she unknowingly forms an army. Trying hard, the Inu-gumi try to bring her out of it, but it seems only the Shichinintai can reach her. This enforces Inuyasha's growing jealousy and unwillingness to let Kagome go.
10. Can't Feel You There
The Gates of Hell has been opened. The world is becoming a wreckage. Nearly everyone is at death's door and surprisingly, Sesshoumaru has allied with Inuyasha and the others. Even Naraku makes a tempoarary truce, unable to accept Sounga's rejection. The Shichinintai find themselves at a lost without Kagome.
11. You Don't Remember
The Shichinintai take time to retreat to Kagome's era, missing her presence and feeling the memories around the shrine. They're suprised to find her family's back. But the very thing they're looking for, something to make Kagome remember, is brought to their eyes as Shouta shows them a thing about Kagome.
12. When You Look at Me
Returning once again to the Feudal Era, the Shichinintai are filled with a new resolve. Ready to go all out, sacrifice anything, the mercenaries just want their Kagome back. At all costs necessary. Even as battle grows closer, the Shichinintai make one last attempt to bring back Kagome. One of them must dress up as Inuyasha.
13. The Gravity of Love
After their failed attempt, the Shichinintai gain at least one thing. The knowledge that Kagome indeed cares for them. Desperate to free her from Sounga's spell, all of them are ready to give up their lives. In fact, they start to break through to Kagome. Now, all she needs to do is completely break away from Sounga.
14. Fields of Innocence
In her mind, Kagome must battle a humanoid Sounga. Myouga realises the truth, that Kagome is the only one Sounga will allow to be its wielder -making Kagome the true owner of the Sword of Hell. Sango tries to advise Kagome to show she's the one in charge, that Kagome accepts the full responsibility of ownership of one of the swords of conquest. However, the modern miko chooses a surprising path -indeed acknowledging the bond between herself and Sounga, but not heed to the master-subservient role. Instead, she believes as a weapon, she does not really wield Sounga, nor does it wield her, but they are a part of each other: Sounga is an attachment to her body, to her soul. Concluding that, she doesn't wield it, it doesn't wield her -they fight together.

Curse of the Hanyou Arc
1. The Hanyou Chronicles
An unexpected turn of events, as not even one week after Sounga's destruction, more problems arises. Kagome has been turned into a half demon. Inuyasha has returned to doting on Kikyo completely. And despite Sounga's acceptance of Kagome as the master, with her new form and Sounga together, the modern miko starts to lose control. Desperately clinging to sanity, Kagome tries to resist the fate of becoming a full demon.
2. Flowing Waters of Peace
The Shichinintai try their best to help Kagome. Feeling helpless now, perhaps even more than the Sounga crisis, the Band of Seven are dreading the loss of Kagome. Spending time with her, they try to help her reconcile with her curse until a cure is found. All of them, except the missing Inuyasha, go have fun at the lake, relishing the break of peace before Naraku decides to continue his efforts.
3. War Machine
The peace is over and Naraku has declared war. Kagome is getting used to her new form and with no one to help her, she's off to a slow start. Kagome gets to test herself against one of Naraku's newest incarnation...one that they didn't know was just a weakling sent to distract them -to make way for Naraku's greatest achievement.
4. Monstrosity
With Hakudoshi revealed, all of them are at risk. When Hakudoshi possesses Kagome, only Inuyasha's presence brings her back, bringing the Shichinintai's jealousy to the forefront. As the jealousy grows within them, so does the hurt and resentment in Kagome as well as the indecision in Inuyasha.
5. The Infinity of the Soul
Failing to keep Kagome under his control, Hakudoshi sets his eyes on new prey -the Shichinintai. The mercenaries' growing anger and hatred towards Inuyasha, and their bitter resenment and jealousy, allows Hakudoshi the perfect target. This time, it's Kagome who has to save them.
6. The Fruits of Labor
As Kagome is successful with bringing the Shichinintai back and forcing Hakudoshi to retreat, Inuyasha begins to see he's losing her. And with Miroku and Sango planning something, it seems he's all alone in this. Especially when he witnesses just how much Kagome cares for the assassins.
7. The Parade of Masks
With Kagome becoming confused with her new feelings that she's developing for the Shichinintai, they're having trouble admitting their own feelings. Not to themselves...but to her.
8. The Carnival of Angst
Inuyasha confronts the Shichinintai and so do Miroku and Sango. Kagome is just confused and oblivious and so will you.
9. Acquitted to Fairytales
Kagome takes Jakotsu to the hotsprings to talk, believing he's still gay. Jakotsu knows he is but just not at the moment. He wasn't gay or straight. Now even bi. It was...a Kagome thing. Later on, the Shichinintai treat Kagome like a princess and this time, she's able to draw them when they're awake. Inuyasha allows them their time, biding his own until he could take her away. Kagome takes Bankotsu flying.
10. Live and Let Loose aka A Day in the Life of the Inu-tachi
Inu-gumi and the Shichinintai come upon a village; the mercenaries witness firsthand how the Inu-gumi works. Miroku -the Corrupt Monk; Shippou -the Frightened Trickster Kit; Sango -the Scorned Woman; Inuyasha -the Battle Ready Grumpy Demon; and Kagome -the Catalyst and Glue.
11. One Time Too Many
Inuyasha once again hurts Kagome, completely breaking her heart. The Shichinintai comfort her but it isn't quite enough. In order to avoid Kagome doing something drastic, Jakotsu has once again kissed Kagome. This baffles many, but none more so than Kagome herself. It also prompts the rest of the Shichinintai to finally admit their feelings to Kagome.
12. Let Sleeping Dogs Lie
Naraku has returned and is trying to use the conflict between the group to his advantage. Kagome is still upset at Jakotsu, not understanding why he's done that to her. All of the Shichinintai try to tell her indirectly, nervous and still new to the idea of confessing their love.
13. In Love and In Death
Things go haywire with Kikyo's death. Even more bizarre is when Inuyasha declares his love for Kagome. Kagome can't handle it and runs away. The Shichinintai chase after her. However, she's in Naraku's clutches and the Shichinintai fight to save her. Surprisingly, once again, Sesshoumaru shows up and defeats Kagura -saving Kagome.
14. Skeletons in the Closet
With confusion branded all over her, Kagome is faced with the Shichinintai. Sesshoumaru has left and Inuyasha still hasn't arrived. No one was there to interrupt them and they felt it was time -they felt ready. They confess. Kagome didn't know what to do or say and therefore only said one thing, "I want to go home." Going back to Kaede's, they decide to wait for a day. In that time, the Shichinintai think. Sometimes straying into brooding. But when they leave, everyone (from the Shichinintai, to Inuyasha and the gang) are shocked to find out Kagome has accepted to become Sesshoumaru's bride...This doesn't bood well for the many others who seek Kagome's hand, especially the Shichinintai and Inuyasha. In the process, Kagome has left behind broken hearts, her own a mystery. For she hides her true feelings...

In the process, Kagome has left behind broken hearts, her own a mystery. For she hides her true feelings...
The Brokenhearted Arc
1. Broken Hearts
As the ones with broken hearts nurse those broken hearts, Kagome confides in her husband to be. Sesshoumaru gives her sound advice, telling her to calm herself and think clearly -allow things to go on awhile before she can truly decide what to do. It is with regret, that Kagome moves to Sesshoumaru's, still unsure. When the rest of the Inu-tachi find out, they and the Shichinintai race after her.
2. Rip Out Their Hearts
The group has arrived in Sesshoumaru's castle. They find her, the girl they're all looking for, five days away from her wedding. And she's totally indifferent to all of them, except Miroku, Sango and Shippou.
3. Only Happy When It Rains
Three days away and everyone is miserable. As Kagome gets to know Sesshoumaru and spends time with him and Rin, the Shichinintai reminiscence on a particular rainy day when that day rains.
4. The Eve of the Wedding
Is a catastrophe. Kouga and Inuyasha have roped in the Shichinintai into kidnapping Kagome. Even before that is a mess as each of them give out mix feelings, confusing the hell out of Kagome. And preparation for the wedding is going haywire; some of it sabotage.
5. Crystal Geysers
The first hideout. It's a pretty place, but Kagome can't enjoy. She's too pissed off at certain mercenaries, a hanyou, and a wolf. That doesn't stop them from trying to spend time with her.
6. Shelled-In Cabin
The next stop is a reserved cabin that Inuyasha had reserved for a long time. Kagome is stuck inside and for a little period of time, she's stuck alone with Kouga. He, on the other hand, begins to see Kagome's emotional conflict; quesitoning whether the kidnapping was such a good idea.
7. Gunslinger Girl
As the group of men and one woman move on, they find out some interesting news. Sesshoumaru has put a bounty on the men's heads and the return of Kagome. Now they must be more careful than ever. Even more, with Kouga rethinking his decision and his part in this.
8. Hall of Gold
They encounter a mysterious palace in which they are drawn to its mysteries. But as they delve more into its depth, they cross paths with the most dangerous part of the palace: a hall made entirely of gold.
9. Virgin Sacrifice and the Summoning
Escaping from the dangerous palace, the group head elsewhere and into an inviting village. But instead, they've run into more trouble. The villagers are all a part of a cult and they want to summon a hell's demon to the surface. They just need a virgin to sacrifice. Problem? They plan to use Kagome.
10. Timeless Voices
Kagome has a horrid nightmare. A long, horrid nightmare. First, she's Cleopatra and then she's on the Titanic. Then she dreams she's Miaka and then a gunslinger girl. Then she becomes Juliet. When she goes back to just plain Kagome, the scary thing is -she's still dreaming! What's bad? The Shichinintai, Kouga, Inuyasha, and Sesshoumaru are all there courting her.
11. Guns and Handcuffs
They've finally been caught. The men get away with their lives because of Kagome and they return to the palace. It was a long fight but because Kouga didn't want Kagome to suffer any more, he sabotages the whole thing.
12. It's a Wonderful Life
Kagome relents to just a free, relaxing day before the wedding. Now unsure of herself, she wonders if it's such a good thing to go through the wedding. In the end, she comes up with the answer.
13. Wedding Bells
As the wedding becomes nonexistent, Kagome feels a vacation is in need. The Shichinintai are eager to go back to her time, but they didn't anticipate everyone else deciding to come. Inuyasha's not out of the game, but Kagome is slowly warming her heart to the Shichinintai.
